The house is a newly converted 18th C barn situated just north of Tebay Gorge in the Howgill Fells. This unspoilt area is within easy reach of the northern Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Eden Valley, and offers excellent walking opportunities. The house is of "upside down" design and the living room windows afford views of the Howgills, the Lune Valley and the famous Shap gradient of the West Coast Main line.
